A firm Cape Winelands favourite, Laborie’s lunch and sunset picnics are back.

Enjoy a beautiful picnic of delicious treats and seasonal delights curated by chef Melissa Bird.

Our standard picnic box is filled with a selection of charcuterie, Winelands cheese, freshly baked baguette, crudités with hummus & tzatziki, mushroom arancini and homemade sweet treats for that sweet tooth. We also offer a vegetarian and kiddies menu.

Book a picnic table or a spot on our lush lawns and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains. For a unique Winelands experience, guests can also book one of the new picnic spots in our vineyard.

Spend a leisurely afternoon with friends and family on the Estate’s lush lawns – there’s even a play area for the little ones. Come for a lazy lunchtime picnic or watch the sunset behind the iconic Paarl Mountain with a sundowner picnic.

Good to know
Picnics need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance and are collected at the Manor House.
Pop in at our Farm Grocer to refill your basket or to add something extra.
