As summer took her good old time to show up, so we thought to give her (and you) a bit of encouragement by opening our picnics.
The thing about a picnic is that one arrives with an expectation of going slow. An expectation of leisure. An expectation of murmurs, lounging and lingering flavours. So you’re already set up to slow down. Which is great.
Picnics need to be booked and paid for at least one day in advance, which means that without much effort or planning, you will be treated to a variety of seasonal, wholesome, intentional and downright delicious picnic foods as well as an afternoon of whiling away hours on the Manor House lawns or between the vines, and most importantly, down time.
Picnics can be collected between 12:00 and 14:00 from Wednesdays to Sundays. Furthermore, our sunset picnics are open on Wednesdays through Saturdays from 16:00 – 18:00. Wine and cold drinks can be ordered when you collect your picnic basket.
Options for picnics include our standard baskets, vegetarian, vegan and kids baskets. The Farm Grocer is there too, should you have spotted something you would like to add to your picnic or refill even.
