Guided by our passionate wine ambassadors, guests are invited to celebrate the art of taste through seasonal platters, and even kiddies’ pairings designed for our youngest visitors. From your first pour to your final toast, a tasting at Laborie is more than an experience — it’s a celebration of heritage, hospitality, and the simple joy of gathering around good wine.
Wine tastings are available Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 18:00, and on Sundays from 11:00 to 17:00 — the perfect time to slow down, sip, and savour the beauty of Laborie.

Tastings are hosted in our historic Manor House — a quiet, sunlit space with high ceilings and views through the trees. On warm days, you’re welcome to sit outside on the wraparound patio, overlooking the vineyards with the Taal Monument and Paarl Mountain in the distance.

Kiddies Pairing
Little ones can join in on the tasting experience with our specially curated Kiddies Pairing – a playful, flavour-filled journey designed to make them feel just as special as the grown-ups. This interactive tasting pairs creamy milkshakes with a trio of sweet treats, including fudge, Turkish delight, and a chocolate brownie, perfectly balanced to delight young palates.
Set against the backdrop of our scenic vineyard estate, it’s the ideal way for kids to enjoy their own tasting adventure while adults sip and savour Laborie’s finest wines. A memorable experience for the whole family – where every generation gets a taste of the good life.

Picnics
The crate escape
The picnic that flips expectations. At Laborie, our picnics don’t come in baskets — they come in handcrafted crates that flip into your very own rustic table. No setup, no stress. Just flip it, pour a glass, and enjoy the view.
Pick up your picnic from the Manor House, where you can also purchase drinks, a bottle (or two) of your favourite Laborie wine to enjoy with your picnic. Then choose your perfect spot on the Werf lawn or vineyard lawn — both framed by oak trees, mountain views, and the easy rhythm of our vineyard village.
Each crate is packed with seasonal flavour and thoughtful touches — including vegan, vegetarian, and kiddies options for under 12’s.
